September 2024 Meeting Minutes

Warner Creek Board Meeting 

September 10th, 2024 

AGENDA 

Call to order 

Attendance: Chris, Sarah Fabian, Megan Kloustin, Anh Le, Bob Stanfield

Approval of previous meeting minutes - 

Presidents report 

● Resident parking issue  – Referred parking issue to the Pittsfield Safety Department

Committees Updates 

● Treasurer – Colleen 

● ABR – Anh – Nothing new

● Welcome – Courtney (via Chris) 

● Activities – Megan 

● Parks – Bob had Rescue Renovations take a look at our bridge site in the south park to give us an estimate.  Bob reported that the buckthorn weeds at the Platt road entrance are thoroughly killed and we will have a second spraying in the Fall.

New Business 

● Late Fee Proposal – Chris

○ Review, vote when we have quorum  – Review will be over email, Chris will have Colleen review it.

● Compass discussion: – Chris

○ New contract – 

○ Status letters - should we solicit volunteers or pay a resident? 

Bob brought up the fact that Facebook is not an “official way to communicate with the board.  Sara stated that she felt we need to pay attention to facebook posts and not just ignore comments.  Anh stated that Facebook is not official communication.  Regarding the Status letters we decided that we wanted to maintain Compass to continue to do this task.

● Trash can in the park - quick discussion.  We decided against it since a neighbor would have to volunteer to empty it and we predicted no one would volunteer for this duty.
