Tell us a bit about yourself. Please include how long you have lived in the neighborhood and what you enjoy most about living here. I have lived in Warner Creek since 2006. We love how warm and welcoming the neighborhood has always seemed. You will see people out and about in our neighborhood year-round, and it is a very family friendly place to live.
Why are you interested in joining the board? What motivates you to get involved or what do you hope to contribute? I have served on the WCHOA since 2024, at first as a member at large and for the last few months as the Vice President. I hope to continue to serve on the board, as my experience doing these things has always shown me that there's a learning curve and I feel like I am just starting to really understand how things work.
What experience or skills would you bring to the board? I value transparency, responsiveness, and communication. I am a very down-to-earth, reasonable person and also bring 5 years of experience serving on the Executive Committee of the EMU-AAUP, which is EMU's largest labor union. So, I have a general understanding of how boards of directors work, etc. But I think right now, the most valuable skills that I bring to the board are that I've been serving and would like to continue to do so, to help our community thrive.
If you currently are or previously have been involved in the Board or on a Committee, please share in what position/committee and when/how long. Answered above, but have been on the board since 2024, and have been serving as part of the Activities Committee since 2022.
Optional: Is there anything else you’d like people to know about you or your goals for the neighborhood? I really love our community/neighborhood and would love to continue as a member of the board. I value inclusivity, safety, community, and compassion, and bring all of those values to my work on the board. I have been reliable and thoughtful about all of the decisions we've had to make during my time serving. I hope to be able to continue serving the neighborhood and hope that more people get involved!

Tell us a bit about yourself. Please include how long you have lived in the neighborhood and what you enjoy most about living here. I moved here with my family in the summer of 2021. I love the walkability of the neighborhood, that people smile and wave when you see them outside, and that there are lots of kids and families to get to know.
Why are you interested in joining the board? What motivates you to get involved or what do you hope to contribute? I initially ran for and joined the board in 2022 because I wanted to help build upon the sense of community by bringing more activities to the neighborhood. I ran again to increase transparency and communication to the residents. I'm running again now because I genuinely love being involved — getting to know neighbors, helping to solve problems and being able to shape the neighborhood as it continues to evolve. If I am re-elected, I hope to continue delivering on my proven pattern of timely, transparent communication. To keep building community through neighborhood events. To make neighbors feel welcome and involved in keeping this a place they are proud to live.
What experience or skills would you bring to the board? I am a strong communicator. I am comfortable leading, and strive to do so fairly and transparently. I am proactive and accountable. In my day job (marketing), I juggle multiple projects at a time with members of other teams, so I know how to collaborate effectively while working with different personalities.
If you currently are or previously have been involved in the Board or on a Committee, please share in what position/committee and when/how long. I joined the board in 2022 as a member and volunteered to be the Activities Chair. In 2024, I was re-elected and became the VP. In 2025, when our prior President resigned, I was selected by my fellow board members to remain President.

Activities bring our community together and make it an even better place to live.

Tell us a bit about yourself. Please include how long you have lived in the neighborhood and what you enjoy most about living here. My family and I have lived in Warner Creek for nearly seven years. My husband and I have two kids, and we’ve enjoyed raising them in a neighborhood that feels welcoming and connected. One of the things I appreciate most about Warner Creek is the relaxed, community-oriented vibe. People are friendly, kids are out playing, neighbors stop to chat, and there’s a really nice balance between community connection and giving everyone space to just enjoy their homes. We’ve met wonderful neighbors here and truly value being part of a neighborhood where people care for one another.

I’m comfortable reviewing information, identifying trends, and considering different perspectives to help groups move toward agreeable solutions. I also have experience with event planning, coordinating projects, and communicating decisions clearly and transparently. I believe these skills would translate well to supporting the work of the board and helping it make informed decisions for the community.

I have lived in Warner Creek since November 2018, at the busy corner of Sauk Trail and Robison Lane. I love that, no matter the time of year, there are always neighbors out and about - usually on walks with their dogs. This also motivates me to get our sidewalks cleared in the winter.
