The WCHA Board of Directors is made up of a group of volunteers who are striving to make our subdivision a premier place to live. We are always open to suggestions. A homeowner can join the board of directors at the annual meeting.

Annual Meeting
The Association holds an Annual Meeting each year, typically in May. The meeting includes community updates, financial information, and voting on Board members and other Association business.

A virtual attendance option will also be available and counts toward quorum and voting.​
We’ll email and post the virtual link on Facebook before the meeting, but you can also find it here (closer to).
Can't attend? Submitting a proxy still counts toward quorum and helps the meeting proceed.
What is a proxy?
A proxy allows the Association to record your participation if you cannot attend the meeting. You may choose another homeowner to attend in your place and vote on your behalf, or have your proxy count only toward quorum.

If you attend virtually, you do not need to submit a proxy — you will still be able to participate and vote during the meeting.

For the meeting to conduct official business, a quorum must be reached. This means participation from at least 50% of households, either in person, virtually, or by proxy. Homeowner participation is what allows elections and other Association decisions to move forward.
If quorum is not reached, the meeting must be rescheduled and voting cannot take place. The current Board continues serving until a quorum is achieved and elections can be held.
Submitting a proxy is an easy way to help the neighborhood reach quorum even if you cannot attend.
Notice of the Annual Meeting is mailed to homeowners approximately 60 days in advance.

Board Meetings
The Board meets monthly throughout the year and meetings are held virtually. Homeowners may request to attend a meeting by contacting the Board in advance.
Meeting Minutes
Minutes are posted after they are approved and provide a record of Association discussions and decisions.
Because minutes are approved at a subsequent meeting, there is often a delay before they appear. Board meeting minutes are typically approved at the following month’s meeting, and Annual Meeting minutes are approved at the next Annual Meeting.
